Gary Rodney
RPG is led by Gary Rodney, who brings more than 27 years of leadership experience across the public, nonprofit, and private sectors, with deep expertise in affordable housing development, finance, and policy. Over the course of his career, Mr. Rodney has acquired, invested in, or overseen nearly 10,000 units of affordable housing
His experience includes serving as Chairman of a national Low-Income Housing Tax Credit syndicator during a period in which the company created or preserved more than 20,000 affordable housing units across 30 states. He also served as President of the New York City Housing Development Corporation from 2014 to 2016, where he oversaw approximately $14 billion in assets and a portfolio of 190,000 apartment units. During his tenure, the agency provided $3.9 billion in financing to create or preserve nearly 27,000 housing units and played a central role in advancing one of New York City’s most ambitious affordable housing initiatives.
